1 oz. Sour Mix
1/4 oz. Lemon or Lime Juice
Salt

Shake well with cracked ice. Rub rim of cocktail glass with rind of lime or lemon. Dip rim in salt. Strain into cocktail glass.


Blue Moon

1 oz. Gin
1 oz. Creme de Violette

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass


Blue Shark

1 oz. Tequila
1 oz. Vodka
3/4 oz. Blue Curacao

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass


Blue Sky

1 oz. Light Rum
1 oz. Blue Curacao
1 oz. Cream of Coconut
4 oz. Pineapple Juice

Blend in blender with 6 oz. crushed ice until smooth. Pour into collins glass.


Blueberrie Smoothie

8 oz. Orange Juice (cold)
1/2 cup Blueberries

Combine in blender. Blend at low speed. Garnish with assorted fruit.


Bobby Burns

1 oz. Scotch Whiskey
1/2 oz. Italian Vermouth
1 dash Bitters

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass


Bocci

1 1/2 oz. Amaretto
6 oz. Orange Juice
splash of Club Soda

Fill highball glass with ice. Add Amaretto and Orange Juice. Stir well. Splash on club soda and serve.


Boilermaker

1 1/2 oz. Whiskey
Beer

Pour whiskey in shot glass. Drop shot glass into beer mug 3/4 full of beer. Drink immedately.


Bolero

1 1/2 oz. Rum
3/4 oz. Apple Brandy
1/4 tsp. Sweet Vermouth

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass


Bombay Punch

4 bottles Champagne
1 bottle Brandy
1 bottle Sherry
1 bottle Madeira Wine
4 oz. Marachino Liqueur
1 lb. Loaf Sugar
2 bottles Seltzer
1 sliced Pineapple
6 sliced Oranges
2 sliced Lemons
1 pint Strawberries

"Rub the sugar over the lemons until it has absorbed all the yellow part of the skins of the 6 lemons. Mix sugar, seltzer and fruits in punch bowl. Add rest of ingredients and ice. Stir well."


Bourbon Daisy

1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
1/2 oz. Blended Whiskey
(Southern Comfort)
1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
1/2 oz. Grenadine
1 oz. Club Soda

Shake well without ice. Pour into collins glass containing shaved ice. Stir with a spoon. Dress with fruits and a sprig of mint.


Bourbon Highball

1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
6 oz. Water or Ginger Ale

Pour over 1 ice cube into highball glass. Garnish with lemon peel.


Bourbon Sour

1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
3 oz. Sour Mix

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into sour glass. Add ice and garnish with cherry and orange slice.


Bourbon-Sloe Gin Fizz

1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
1 oz. Sloe Gin
1 tsp. Sugar
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Club Soda

Shake well with cracked ice all but club soda. Strain into highball glass over 2 ice cubes. Fill with chilled club soda. Stir gently. Top with whole strawberry.


Box Car

1 oz. Gin
1 oz. Cointreau
Juice of 1/2 Lime
1 dash Grenadine
White of 1 Egg

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass


Brain Eraser

1 oz. Vodka
1/2 oz. Kahlua
1/2 oz. Amaretto
splash of Club Soda

"Carefully float each ingredient, in order, on top of each other by slowly pouring over the back of a bar spoon. Keep seperated."


Brandy & Rum Hot Punch

1 quart Rum
1 quart Cognac Brandy
1 lb. Loaf Sugar
4 Lemons
3 quarts Boiling Water
1 tsp. Nutmeg

"Rub the sugar over the lemons until it has absorbed all the yellow parts of the skins, then put the sugar into the punch bowl. Add boiling water, stirring well. Add Rum and Brandy. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Serves 15."


Brandy Alexander

1/2 oz. White Creme de Cacao
1/2 oz. Brandy
1/2 oz. Heavy Cream

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass. Top with ground nutmeg.


Brandy Champerelle

1 1/2 oz. Red Curacoa
1 1/2 oz. Anisette
1 1/2 oz. Brandy
3 drops Angostura Bitters

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into wine glass.


Brandy Cobbler

2 oz. Brandy
2 oz. Carbonated Water
1 tsp. Powdered Sugar

"Dissolve sugar in carbonated water. Add cracked or shaved ice. Add Brandy. Stir well. Garnish with cherry, berries and orange slice. Serve with a straw."


Brandy Crusta

1 1/2 oz. Brandy
3 dashes Gum Syrup
2 dashes Angostura
2 dashes Lemon Juice
2 dashes Maraschino

"Using a lemon, peel the rind from it all in one piece. Fit the rind into the glass, covering the entire inside. Run a slice of lemon around the edge, and dip the glass into powdered sugar. Shake well with shaved ice and strain into glass."

2 dashes Curacoa

Brandy Eggnog (punch)

1 fifth Brandy
3 oz. Rum
8 Eggs
1 pint Heavy Cream
1 quart Milk
1/2 pound Sugar

Beat yolks and whites of eggs seperately. Add sugar to egg whites and beat until stiff. Combine yolks and whites and mix thoroughly. Add Rum and Brandy. Beat mixture. Add cream and milk. Mix. Chill well. Serve with a light sprinkling of nutmeg


Brandy Eggnog

2 oz. Brandy
1 tsp. Powdered Sugar
1 Egg Milk

Shake well all but milk with cracked ice and strain into collins glass. Fill with milk. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.


Brandy Fix

2 1/2 oz. Brandy
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
1 tsp. Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Water

Mix sugar with lemon juice and water in highball glass until sugar has dissolved. Fill glass with ice and add Brandy. Stir. Garnish with slice of lemon and serve with straws.


Brandy Flip

1 1/2 oz. Brandy
1 tbsp. Sugar
1 beaten Egg

Shake well with cracked ice and strain into sour glass. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.


Brandy Punch

3 quarts Brandy
1/2 pint Rum
1 gallon Water
2 pounds Sugar
juice of 6 Lemons
3 sliced Oranges
1 sliced Pineapple
4 oz. Curacoa
8 oz. Raspberry Syrup

Mix and serve with plenty of ice. Serves 20.


Brandy Sangaree

1 1/2 oz. Brandy
dash Port
1/4 glass Shaved Ice
1 1/2 oz. Water
1 tsp. Sugar

Stir well all but Port. Add dash of Port on top.


Brandy Scaffa

1 1/2 oz. Maraschino
1 1/2 oz. Green Chartreuse
1 1/2 oz. Brandy

Pour in order into wine glass keeping ingredients seperate like a pousse cafe.


Brandy Sling (cold)

2 oz. Brandy
1 tsp. Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Water
Juice of 1/2 Lemon

Dissolve sugar in water and lemon juice. Add Brandy. Pour into old fashioned glass over ice. Stir. Garnish with twist of lemon peel.


Brandy Sling (hot)

2 oz. Brandy
1 tsp. Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Hot Water
Juice of 1/2 Lemon

Dissolve sugar in water and lemon juice. Add Brandy. Pour into old fashioned glass. Stir. Sprinkle grated nutmeg on top.


Brandy Smash

1 1/2 oz. Brandy
1 oz. Water
1 tbsp. Powdered Sugar
2-3 springs Fresh Mint

Muddle mint and sugar with 2 oz. shaved ice. Add Brandy and water. Strain into sour glass. Garnish with fruit.


Brandy Sour

1 1/2 oz. Brandy
juice of 1/2 Lemon or Lime
1 tsp. Sugar
dash Seltzer

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into sour glass. Decorate with 1/2 slice lemon.


Brandy Toddy (cold)

1 1/2 oz. Brandy
1 lump Sugar
1 cube Ice

Stir well and serve.


Brandy Toddy (hot)

1 1/2 oz. Brandy
1 sliced Lemon
1 lump Sugar
4 oz. Boiling Water

"Combine and stir well. Sprinkle with ground nutmeg, add cloves and cinnamon stick."


Brass Blonde

1 1/2 oz. Whiskey
1 1/2 oz. Grapefruit Juice
1 tsp. Strawberry Liqueur
1 oz. Club Soda

Fill collins glass with ice. Add all but club soda. Stir. Top with club soda and stir again.


Brass Monkey

1/2 oz. Vodka
1/2 oz. Light Rum
Orange Juice

Fill highball glass with ice. Add Vodka and Rum. Fill with orange juice. Stir well.


Breakfast Eggnog

1 oz. Brandy
1/2 oz. Curacao
1 Egg

Broadwalk

1 1/2 oz. Dark Rum
1/2 oz. Banana Liqueur

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass. Can decorate with 1/2 slice orange.


Bubble Gum

1/4 Vodka
1/4 Banana Liqueur
1/4 Peach Schnapps
1/4 Orange Juice

Mix in shot glass and drink.


Bull Frog

1 1/2 oz. Vodka
Limeade

Add ingredients to highball glass filled with ice. Stir well.


Burnside

1 1/2 oz. Gin
3/4 oz. French Vermouth
1/4 oz. Italian Vermouth
2 dashes Bitters
1 tbls. Brandy

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into cocktail glass.


Burnt Brandy & Peaches

1 1/2 oz. Brandy
2 lumps Sugar
3 Peach Slices

WARNING: USE EXTREME CAUTION! Place 3 peach slices in a cocktail glass. Burn the Brandy and sugar together in a saucer. Extinguish the Brandy and pour the burnt liquid over the peach slices and serve.
